Lacking a digestive system, they consume their food by surrounding and absorbing it. A network of nerves and veins intersects at their two eye spots. They cannot see colors, but have a well-developed sense of smell. They are aggressive and expansionist, seeking to grow their territory beyond their current limits. They find uncooked food inedible and will refuse to eat anything they feel is even slightly undercooked. They use a non-charismatic, but actually quite benevolent, dictator as their style of government.
They believe in sapientism; or the belief that sapient beings are neither good nor evil, but capable of being ethical and moral without belief in supernatural beings. Their spiritual practices have a rigid hierachy with most decisions made at the local level. They believe that followers are the chosen people who deserve to dominate other sapients and their sacred texts are regularly used in rituals and taught to a significant degree for those adherents that are interested, though there are some groups who add nuance to those beliefs.
